For the second straight year the tournament was won by TEAM WICKEY sponsored by Bert Wickey of Medina and comprised of Adam Feeks (captain), Tony Stockman, Nate Holley and J.T. Sturm, all of Medina; plus Trey Stross of Avon Lake.
The Bob Schulte “Nothing Less Than The Best” trophy went to Ed Clark of Ravenna who, at the age of 69 years, was the oldest player in the tournament and demonstrated a level of energy and determination that earned the respect of all involved. The award, named for Bob Schulte of Medina, a longtime Still Here basketball player who died of leukemia several years ago, is given in recognition of an unselfish team spirit and a commitment to play the game with uncompromised competitiveness combined with a sense of fairness and integrity.
