STILL HERE 2014 GOLF OUTING RAISES MORE THAN $4,000 FOR CHARITIES AND SUPPORT OF YOUTH BASKETBALL!
This year, thanks to more than 60 golfers and numerous sponsors, Still Here Basketball, Inc., raised more than $4,000 at its 2014 Still Here Invitational Charity Golf Outing held on August 16 at Rawiga Country Club, Seville, Ohio. As part of our charter to support recognized charities, Still Here donated $1,000 to The Kidney Foundation of Medina County, represented by Andrea Stainbrook (shown above far left); and $1,000 to The American Cancer Society, represented by Kristy Kalnitzky (second from left back row above). As part of its mission to support young basketball players, Still Here also donated $500 to Adaptive Sports Program of Ohio (ASPO), an organization headquartered in Wooster and dedicated to providing sports opportunities for physically challenged individuals. Shown here are (left - to - right) Warren Craig and Casey Followay, two active wheelchair basketball players involved with the valuable programs provided by ASPO.
On behalf of Still Here Basketball, Inc., Bob Campbell (left above), presents the Bob Schulte Spirit Award to Glen Reisner, Athletic Director for the Buckeye School District. This award is given to an individual or group representing the highest level of spirit in basketball and brotherhood. Mr. Reisner has been an active partner in helping identify student basketball ballplayers who benefit from support from Still Here Basketball, Inc., in meeting pay-for-play requirements.
