STILL HERE BASKETBALL, INC. , THE MEDINA COUNTY POLICE ACTIVITIES LEAGUE, AND COACH TONY STOCKMAN, TEAM UP TO SPONSOR THREE FREE-OF-CHARGE BASKETBALL & LIFE SKILLS WORKSHOPS FOR MEDINA AREA FIFTH GRADERS

Still Here Basketball, Inc., in partnership with the Medina County Police Activities League (MCPAL), recently completed three BASKETBALL & LIFE SKILLS workshops, presented free-of-charge to Medina area fifth graders.

The two non-profit organizations teamed up with Coach Tony Stockman who conducted the events held at Blake, Garfield, and Sidney Fenn elementary schools. Coach Stockman is the all-time high scorer at Medina High School and, following a successful college and professional basketball career, is now in his third year as head coach at Ohio Christian University, where his teams have already won two national championships.

The objective of the BASKETBALL & LIFE SKILLS workshops was to convey to young basketball players that many of the same skills necessary to be a good athlete are the same skills required to be happy and successful in life: cooperation, sharing with others, appreciation of teamwork, and respect for others.
